The itinerary is very much like the ROYAL GARDEN TOUR -
just the accomodation is ajusted to a smaller budget.
Day 1: Arrival in Berlin. For 2 nights you will stay in the city
that never sleeps. BERLIN! The Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag,
Unter den Linden. You will be taken on a sightseeing tour and
a visit to the Charlottenburger Schloss ...(please do visits our links

The rest of the day is to explore on your own (D)
Day 2: After breakfast our excursion will go north to the
small castle & town of Rheinsberg. It was the residence of the
young Frederik and his wife Elisabeth Christine. 1744 the
castle and grounds were completed by Georg Wenzelslaus
von Knobeldorff, one of the most important architects of the
Frederician age. Here you can see for yourself the transformation
from rococo garden to an early landscape garden

Day 3: BERLIN - POTSDAM
Just a short drive, but what a difference. We stay for 1 night
at a comfortable ***star hotel.

Day 4: POTSDAM - SPREEWALD
We drive eastbound towards the polish border.
Destination Bad Muskau and Branitz. The famous gardens
of Fuerst Pueckler. You will be taken by horsedrawn carriage
through these wonderful gardens to appreciate their vastness.
Then on to Branitz. From there we travel to the Spreewald.

Day 5. By boat we visit the small country gardens of the
Spreewald. By lunchtime we leave Brandenburg for Saxony.
After visiting Schloss Moritzburg we travel on to Dresden -
our home for the next three days.

Day 6; Sightseeing in Dresden.
By paddle steamer we go down to Schloss Pillnitz and it's
magnificent gardens.

Day 7: Visit to the Royal Garden Gross Sedlitz.
Drive through the Elbsandstein Mountains to Bad Schandau.
Boat trip on the Elbe River back to Pillnitz - Transfer to Dresden.

Day 8: We leave for Dessau and the Woerlitz Garden Realm.
We take weather permitting an idyllic Gondola Ride -
Afterwards the famous BAUHAUS. There will be guided tour
at the Bauhaus. In the evening we have a farewell dinner at
the Bauhaus designed Kornhaus Restaurant in Dessau.
